ABOUT

The Doff Project was created after long-term local Courtney Cox finally decided she wanted to see business reimagined with customers and community at the center of her business model. Where not only are investments made in properties, but also people.

For the majority of her childhood, Courtney's family followed their father who specialized in post and beam construction which took the family to many locations of the country including Atlanta, Breckenridge, Glenville, and Cashiers North Carolina, and lastly settling back in Syracuse. During these years much of her time consisted of construction sites, outdoor adventures, and running around with her three older brothers building forts, causing the good trouble that siblings do.

After leaving Syracuse for a fated road trip through Telluride, Courtney has had her turn wearing many hats within the community while raising her daughter Nora, whom she is very proud of.  Over 17 years of living in Telluride, she has been fortunate enough to wear the titles of special education teacher, restaurant general manager, property manager, investigator, legal assistant, project manager, and director of administration and operations. These years have provided more on-site training than one could imagine all while developing intimate and personal connections throughout the community. With a major skill set being operational management and problem-solving she has innovative ideas to apply to daily business that she takes great pride in. Her work ethic while maintaining integrity and transparency to all clients is unmatched.  Your house is your home and we are here to treat it as if it were our own. Where there is a problem, she will find a solution.

In her spare time, Courtney is passionate about providing funds for women in need. She is dedicated to getting women in crisis proper mental health care and resources to get life back on track during tough times. She has volunteered in women's crisis networks, civil investigations with class actions, and human rights networks, to name a few.

She hopes you share in her dream and idea of community initiative through business that fuels our local community and its people.
